This electric furnace is developed on request of customer involved into production of large sliding bearings, furnace is used for heat treatment at temperatures up to 950°C.
Furnace is equipped with special variant of fan of our own production.
Fan is working up to 750°C to aid heat transfer at low temperatures, above this temperature heat transfer is primary from radiation heat transfer and fan is not necessary any more. So above 750°C fan is stopped but it is still inside furnace on high temperature, so special cooling system for bearings ensures furnace operation up to 950°C. Heating of furnace is with electric spiral heaters of our production and design. Temperature regulators are standardly realized within furnace PLC, but depending on requirements regulation can be realized with standard regulators. This furnace is usually used for annealing, but since furnace has installed fan all heat treatments up to 950°C can be made in this furnace.
Furnace is built in system for temperatures up to 950°C. Robust chassis supports insulation and fan. Furnace is built in dry building system which enables transport of finished furnaces to customer, additionally it enables easy service and access to single insulation blocks for service purposes.
This furnace, as are other ovens and furnaces of our production is built for industrial usage in harshest condition, and in practically non-stop operation.
Furnace fans for internal atmosphere circulation:
Fans that we use on our ovens and furnaces are our own product and we have went thru several minor modifications of construction during last 30 years, fans are now extremely reliable, they are high capacity fans with very low maintenance requirements.
Construction of fans is adapted for use up to 950°C by installing special cooling system.
Heating elements are spiral heaters designed and made by our company, Used heating wire is from World-wide known supplier Kanthal. Heaters are properly sized so they have a very long lifetime.
Product transport is automatic or semi-automatic (manual transport in some instances) depending on customer requirements.
In automatic version products are loaded to travelling floor (trolley) and process is started.
Products are automatically transported in furnace, door close, and heat treatment cycle is started. At the end of time-temperature curve products are automatically unloaded form furnace.
