Application:
This continous furnace (pass-thru furnace) is developed on request from customer involved into production of insulation materials. This continous furnace is heating insulation material up to 400°C.
Description:
Furnace is equipped with 8 fans, single belt drive motor-reducer and electric heaters, temperature regulation is divided into 4 regulation zones by length (furnace length is 10m). Temperature regulation is realized within Siemens PLC with PID temperature regulator.
This furnace is incorporated into continuous production line. Interior and exterior of furnace is built from stainless steel, airflow within furnace is “reversed”, meaning that air direction is from ceiling to bottom of furnace.
Continuous furnace construction:
Furnace is built in our standard construction system for use up to 450°C which excels in insulation quality and chassis robustness. To fulfil customer high requirements complete chassis is hot dip galvanized, interior and exterior plating is also made out of stainless steel.
Furnace is built to enable easy transport with standard transport dimensions and with 4 top openings and 4 bottom openings for service purposes.
Operating conditions
This continous furnace, as are other ovens and furnaces of our production, is built for industrial usage in harshest condition, and in practically non-stop operation.
Furnace fans
Fans that we use on our ovens and furnaces are our own product and we have went thru several minor modifications of construction during last 30 years, fans are now extremely reliable, they are high capacity fans with very low maintenance requirements.
Electric heaters
Installed heaters are product from our long-term supplier of custom electric heaters. Heaters are made in top quality and they are not a wear part in nominal operation conditions.
